Israel’s military commander, Eyal Zamir, revealed that Iran had launched two ballistic missiles with a range of 4,000 km towards US and British military bases in Diego Garcia, Indian Ocean. This is the first time Iran has used long-range missiles that can reach areas outside the Middle East since the US and Israeli attacks on February 28th. Zamir stated that these missiles were not aimed at Israel but had the capability to reach European capitals such as Berlin, Paris, and Rome. It was reported that the attack occurred when the UK gave authorization to the US to use British military bases for a counterattack on Iran’s missile launch sites. In retaliation, Iran’s missiles hit the cities of Dimona and Arad in southern Israel, causing injuries to dozens of people. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that they had targeted military facilities and security centers in southern Israel. These cities are situated near Israel’s secret nuclear facilities and military bases, including the Nevatim Air Base.
