Brigadier General Ali Imran, the Commander of Regional Military Command (Danrem) 011/Lilawangsa, has officially been promoted to Brigadier General in the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) after being appointed as the Commander of the Iskandar Muda Military Region Command (Danrindam). He succeeded Brigadier General Hasandi Lubis in this strategic position. The promotion ceremony was presided over by the TNI Commander, General Agus Subiyanto, in Jakarta.
Born in Banda Aceh in 1978, Brigadier General Ali Imran has a distinguished military background, having served in various elite units such as Kopassus, Bais TNI, Paspampres, and Pusintelad. Despite his new role as the Danrindam Iskandar Muda, he continues to hold command at Korem 011/Lilawangsa.
During his tenure as the Danrem 011/Lilawangsa, Brigadier General Ali Imran has been known for his social initiatives and community engagement. He has helped underprivileged families build houses and provided clean water access by constructing deep wells in several religious schools (Ponpes) and mosques in Aceh. Additionally, he has been vigilant in safeguarding the security and stability of the Indonesian territory, particularly in Aceh.
Brigadier General Ali Imran’s commitment to serving the nation and honoring past heroes is evident through his efforts to restore and create access to the Cut Nyak Meutia Heroes Cemetery in the dense forests of North Aceh. This dedication reflects a new chapter in his military career as a high-ranking officer in the Iskandar Muda Military Region Command, Aceh.
